about Maryland 37:
Studies on the hull were carried out by the
architects Joubert-Nivelt along with the Dutch Maritime Research
M.A.R.I.N. in order to design the best hull for a trawler.
Maryland 37 can cover 1000 miles at 9 knots.
With an exceptional performance at sea, it consumes 10 % less fuel at
a speed of 10 knots and 40 % less fuel at a speed of 15 knots than a
monohull of comparable capacity. Furthermore, the reinforced keel in
composite material which protects the propeller will easily carry the
vessel aground or for beaching.
Living areas.
Maryland 37, through the know-how of Fountaine Pajot, offers fine
comfortable accommodation designed by Olivier Flahault :
- A vey big saloon, a table in cabinetwork to seat 6 to 8 people and
convertible into a double bed.
- A kitchen with plenty of working surface and a contemporary bar.
- A navigating post with panoramic view.
- Two splendid cabins with private bathrooms.
