Silba - Island of Silba belongs to the group of smaller-size (15 square kilometers) inhabited Croatian islands. It is situated between the neighbouring islands of Olib on the East and Premuda on the West. The closest city on the mainland is Zadar (about 30 nautical miles). Silba is a town of ship owners and captains and their ancient houses. The harbour in the village is located in the middle of the island and is protected from all winds. Many houses command a view of the sea, for those who watch fro an early return, In the vicinity, there are the three islands of Grebeni, which are a geomorphologic preserve.
Note that there are no facilities for cash withdrawal yet and only hotel allows you to pay by credit card.
