St Martin Charter Base - Suggested Itinerary - start at Antigua: Day 1 Welcome aboard at Jolly Harbour, Antigua. Visit the boat, meet the crew, discuss the itinerary around the charts. Cocktails and dinner on board. Day 2 Morning sail to the island of Barbuda, about 3 hours or pleasant sailing to this magnificent coral island. Anchor in front of the beach, have lunch, swim, snorkel, stroll along this deserted beach. Day 3 Morning sail to Nevis, a 6 hour downwind sail (spinnaker). Anchor facing a lovely beach lined with coconut trees. Enjoy dinner ashore. Day 4 Start the day with a tour of the island along the coastal route. Visit some beautifully renovated old time plantations. After lunch, it's off to St. Kitts, anchor in small and lovely Chitten Bay. For The skipper can take snorkeling enthusiasts to White House Bay. Dive on a wreck which dates from the 16th century. For the others, a local sugar cane train makes a tour around various plantations. Day 5 Set sail for St. Barthélémy. The sail is long (5 to 6 hr.) but it's a comfortable one propelled by the wind from St. Kitts and St. Eustatius. A late afternoon arrival at Colombier Bay. Anchorage with a view of the beautiful white sand beach. Day 6 Spend a lazy morning at Colombier, swim, scurf. . .After lunch it's off to the village of Gustavia. Dine ashore at one of the restaurants that animates the little harbor. Day 7 Set sail for St. Martin (3 hr.), anchor at Anse Marcel. Lunch and disembark. This itinerary is ideal for an 8 to 10 day cruise allowing you to spend one more day in Antigua to visit English Harbour as well as time to visit St. Barthélémy and St. Martin.
